Sport activities in Malaga

Water Sports

It’s the Sun Coast (Costa del Sol), so the beach is king in these parts. Most activities (wind surfing, Jet Skis, parasailing, etc.) are available through the major resorts that dot the coast.
Water Sports

Boating

Most major resorts have marinas that offer one-day or half-day charters for fishing or pleasure. Your ship will probably arrive and depart Malaga at night so you’ll miss some of the best views of coastal Spain – unless you include a trip out to sea as a daytime excursion.

Hiking

Take a hike! In town, in the mountains, along the coast, the options are there for those who prefer to strike out on their own. Check first with your ship’s Shore Excursion Desk for suggested routes so that you get the most from your limited time in Málaga.

Golfing

Once again, the resorts of the Costa del Sol shine through. Check locally for tee times and course availability. Summer is the season here and things (tours, restaurants, boats, and golf courses) fill up quickly.

Bullfights

Bullring of Malaga Toro! Maybe not the most P.C. event these days, but if it floats your boat, Malaga has a bullring. Most events are scheduled on weekends and take place at the Malagueta Bullring. It should go without saying that this sport is for spectators only, but – after some tapas and a nice bottle of wine…

This is only one of hundreds of examples that you can doing in Malaga
